How to clean a teak dining table, teak tables are often found in outdoor patio areas, used with a dining set outdoors, where the family can enjoy a meal on the patio or deck. Cleaning the teak table is necessary not only to remove any crumbs spilling over the table, but also to remove outdoor elements like pollen, bird droppings and other similar build-up. This can be done with a quick cleansing routine cleaning and some household goods at low cost.
Tube out of teak table regularly with the garden hose when possible. If the hose is not an option, clear the teak dining table with a wet cloth. Pour soap 2 tsp, 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon water in a bucket for a more thorough cleaning.
Immerse the cleaning cloth in the solution and pass through the teak table. Soap removes bird droppings and food waste while disinfects vinegar. Wash the cleaning cloth with clean water and wipe the teak to remove the cleaner. Let air dry table. See also image for teak dining table in this website.
